What if I do not know the battery size?

Year, make, and model is enough. VIN helps. We pick the group size and chemistry (flooded or AGM) from the vehicle, not a guess from a photo.

Do you take the old battery?

Yes. The core leaves with us. You do not drive a dead battery to a counter.

What the test covers

Open-circuit voltage, load / CCA, and charging voltage with the engine running when we can start the car. Corroded terminals and a loose hold-down get called out. Those fail as often as a dead cell.

You get a plain-language result: replace, charge and retest, or look at the charging system. No upsell for a pack that still tests in spec.

Why test on site

A counter tester in another zip does not help if the car will not move. We bring the tester to the pin. If the battery is done, we can install in the same stop.
